My Journey
I’m Arshya, an Indian actress working across Feature Films, Web Series, Ads and Theatre. I played the lead role in the globally trending Amazon Prime Web Series Suzhal The Vortex: Season 2 (Wallwatcher Films), a project that has been an incredible milestone in my journey.
I also acted in a primary role in A Song for Eresha, a film directed by AK Srikanth and released on Apple TV and Amazon Prime. The film has received several accolades at the Royal Society of Television and Motion Pictures Film Festival and the Tagore International Film Festival, and being part of it has been deeply rewarding.
My first on-screen appearance was in Mani Ratnam’s feature film Aaytha Ezhuthu, after which I played the lead in Mistaken, a short film nominated at the Festival du Cinéma de Paris.
Theatre has been an essential part of my craft. I’ve had the opportunity to perform at international festivals including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the International Theatre Festival in Egypt, and the Rangashankara Theatre Festival in Bangalore. These experiences have shaped my artistic approach and strengthened my love for performance and storytelling.
